Looking Back on 2009

Henry the Pug

Dallas Fort Worth Pug Rescue had its biggest rescue year in history in 2009. We took in some very sick pugs last year and, though some could not be saved, we were able to provide medical care and find loving homes for many who had never known a kind human touch before they came to us.

Dallas Fort Worth Pug Rescue has rescued more than 4800 pugs since we were formed 12 years ago. Our mission is No pug left behind. Without your support to our rescue organization, thousands of lost, forgotten and homeless pugs would not be in loving homes today. Thank you for everything you have done, no matter how large or small, to help us save these precious pugs. Just by sharing this newsletter with your friends, you can help these pugs.

Here are our stats for 2009:

Total Pugs Adopted: 460

Total Number of Events: 77

Veterinary Expenses: $164,943.25

Pugs in Foster Homes on Dec. 31, 2009 - 76
