Heartworm Preventative!

A month ago I did a post about heartworms. A huge percentage of the pugs that come into our rescue are positive for heartworms. Every pug that comes into the rescue that is positive has to undergo expensive medical treatment for this condition and they are monitored carefully until they are all better. The saddest thing is that heartworm can be easily prevented!!!!! Considering how many pugs we have in rescue now, we are in serious need of heartworm preventative donations (or the money to purchase the preventative). Did you want to help DFW Pug Rescue, but aren't in a situation where you can bring a pug into your home right now? Then please consider donating heartworm preventative or making a financial contribution so that we can help these pugs from getting sick in the future!

Please visit our donate page on our website. You can click on that green "donate" button on the donate page (or even here on the blog on the right!) to donate using paypal. You can also send donations to DFW Pug Rescue, PO Box 2591, Grapevine, Texas 76099.

Thank you from the pugs!!!
