It's less than 2 weeks until the biggest pug event in Dallas - PugOWeen 2009 and you can just sense the puggy excitment building across Texas and the surrounding states. Princesses, bridal parties, famous rockpugs and cheerleader pugs alike are primping for the costume parades. We are expecting our largest Pug-O-Ween in history, with close to 400 pugs in costume.

Pug moms and dads will be tickled pink to know we will have $5 nail clips for the four footed ones. (Let the wailing begin!) And please bring collars, harnesses, and belly bands for our donation box.

Are you ready to put your paw in the ring for the coveted Grand Prize Trophy? There will be contests for all pug age groups and over 70 items in our silent auction so get ready to join us for a fun day! Here's the scoop!

What were all the cool pugs wearing at Pugoween this year for Dallas Fort Worth Pug Rescue? The costumes were pug-mazing! Pugoween was hugely successful, with pug owners from other states driving miles and miles to show off their creations. Morticia pug, Couch potato pugs, and The King pug and Priscilla pugs themselves showed up to grace the big event!

Thanks to everyone who pug-ticipated, especially our hardworking volunteers and Miss Vanessa who coordinated the whole pug thing! This is our most important fund raiser each year, and every penny goes to pay our vet bills. We hope to see you next year at Pugoween 2009!
